All 3 US stock indexes endured large falls Wednesday. The Nasdaq was down the most at 2.67%. The Dow dropped 1.99%, with the S&P down 2.14%.
The Nasdaq has now lost ground since Joe Biden became president on January 20th. The Dow and S&P have still gained significant amounts but have dropped well below 10% growth.
Biden’s leads over Donald Trump on the Dow and S&P are rapidly shrinking, with both down more than 2% since yesterday. Trump’s lead on the Nasdaq has risen almost 3% and has now breezed into double figures.
Biden’s position relative to Barack Obama has worsened by roughly 2% on each of the indexes. His lead on the S&P has pretty much disappeared, while Obama’s lead on the Nasdaq has pushed above 13%.
