Stocks End Week With Mixed Performance

It was a mixed day on the markets Friday to end what has been a difficult week for the stock market in general. The Dow Jones did close up today by 0.36% but there were losses on the Nasdaq and the S&P of 0.48% and 0.08% respectively.

The Dow’s gains under President Joe Biden are well over 10%, but the Nasdaq continues to struggle in comparison, with gains of a little over 2%.

Biden has increased his lead over Donald Trump on the Dow by a few tenths of a percent. However, Trump’s lead on the Nasdaq has increased by almost 0.5% since yesterday.

Biden’s position compared to Barack Obama has improved markedly over the past 24 hours. Obama’s lead on the Nasdaq has reduced by almost 2%, although it stills stand at close to 9%. Biden’s leads on the Dow and S&P have each increased by almost 2%.
