Quiet Day On Stock Market But Trump Retakes Lead On S&P

It was a relatively quiet day on the stock market. The three major stock indexes saw little movement, with the Dow (up 0.12%) and S&P 500 (up 0.10%) up fractionally on the day and the Nasdaq dropping 0.02%.

However, there was more significant movement in the comparison between President Joe Biden and previous President Donald Trump. Trump retook the lead on the comparison of their performance on the S&P after 15 days of presidency and increased his lead on the Dow to 2.34%. Biden continues to hold a small lead of 0.93% on the Nasdaq but this is more than 2% less than yesterday.

Biden, though, continues his strong lead on Barack Obama after 15 days of presidency. His lead, however, has been reduced by over one percentage point in each index.
