The Nasdaq dropped 0.34% of its value on what was a relatively uneventful day on the stock market. The Dow was up a negligible 0.01%, while the S&P lost a similarly negligible 0.02%.
Today’s small moves were enough to drop the Nasdaq’s gains back below 5% under the presidency of Joe Biden. The gains for the Dow and S&P remain close to 9%.
There was also little change in the comparison between Biden and predecessor Donald Trump. Biden’s deficit on the Nasdaq increased by less than 1%, while his leads on the Dow and S&P reduced fractionally.
There was only a little more change in Biden’s comparison with Barack Obama. He has reduced Obama’s lead on the Nasdaq by a few tenths of a percentage point and increased his leads on the Dow and S&P by at least a similar amount.
