Little Change On Markets But S&P Breaks Another Record

There was little change on the 3 main US stock indexes Wednesday. The S&P and Dow were up modest amounts. The former’s 0.15% gain was enough for another record closing figure. The Nasdaq dropped 0.07%.

President Joe Biden continues to have solid gains on all 3 indexes since he took office. His most impressive index is the Dow, which has gained more than 7% since inauguration day.

There is also little change in the comparison between Biden and Donald Trump after 78 days of their presidencies. Biden’s advantage on the Dow and S&P has increased marginally from yesterday, while his deficit on the Nasdaq has also increased marginally.

There is a considerably more significant change on Biden’s comparison with Barack Obama following what was a poor day 78 on the markets for the latter. Biden’s deficit on the Nasdaq has almost disappeared, while his comparative leads on the Dow and S&P have increased by more than 2%.
