The Nasdaq closed up by 0.38% and the S&P was up by 0.17%, but there was little movement in the gaps between President Joe Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump after another relatively unspectacular day on Wall Street. The Dow was down a marginal 0.02%, meaning that Trump’s lead over Biden on that index increased slightly.
Biden has seen the Nasdaq rise by over 6% in the 23 days since he took office from President Trump. The S&P has risen by almost 3%, while the Dow has seen a more modest rise.
Biden does continue his strong lead over Barack Obama at the same stage in their presidencies. He has, however, seen his link shrink a little on all three indexes.
