Gains All Round As Dow And S&P Set New Records

The Dow, S&P, and Nasdaq all finished Wednesday higher than they had started. President Joe Biden has now seen all 3 stock indexes rise since he took office on January 20th.

The Dow has gained almost 6%, the S&P more than 3%, while the Nasdaq has ticked into positive territory.

Biden still trails predecessor Donald Trump on all 3 indexes after 57 days of their presidencies. He has, however, seen the gap reduce. It is now a negligible amount on the Dow, but a more significant 6.01% on the Nasdaq.

Oddly enough, the lead over his Democrat predecessor Barack Obama has reduced significantly. It is still substantial on all 3 indexes but has dropped roughly one percentage point following what was a good day 57 on the stock market for Obama 12 years ago.
